WOW Women of the World festival at Southbank Centre in London celebrates the power and potential of girls and women and confronts the causes of inequality. The incredible lineup on includes conversations with Angela Davis, Naomi Klein, and talks by Annie Lennox, Gina Miller, Jo Brand, The Slumflower, Women's Equality Party, Sandi Toksvig, Munroe Bergdorf, Lily Allen and many more.
I was hired by the WOW Foundation to art direct and design the 32-page festival programme, for a print run of 6000 copies.
WOW has held 65 festivals in 5 continents over 30 locations in over 15 countries from Baltimore to Brazil, Cardiff to Karachi, and further across the UK, Australia and the USA, reaching over 2 million girls and women, and men and boys too. It is the biggest, most comprehensive and most significant festival dedicated to presenting work by women and promoting equality for women and girls.

I worked with Heather as part of 2019's WOW - Women of the Festival at the Southbank Centre. She designed the most beautiful programme for the festival. It was creative and took The WOW Foundation's brand to the next level while also fulfilling every aspect of our brief. Heather was brilliant to work with throughout the process - she provided clear, imaginative concepts and was flexible as needs and content changed throughout the project. One of the most helpful things was that Heather also has a great editorial eye, so picked up consistency errors etc as we went along which made the proofing stage much easier.
