Britain has over 9 million lonely people, and the problem is growing. But how do we make London less lonely through the way we design spaces and places? The Loneliness Lab is a collaboration between LendLease and Collectively, bringing together makers, campaigners and place-makers to explore solutions for tackling loneliness and social isolation in London. The ideas from the Sprint sessions will be developed into a year-long pilot in real communities in London.
I was hired by Collectively to art direct and design an A5 printed Briefing Pack for the Loneliness Lab 'Design Sprint' in October 2018.
"I cannot recommend Heather highly enough for her work on the Loneliness Lab Playbook. Building on and deepening the existing brand identity, she created two strong and distinctive design concepts, took on board our feedback and worked swiftly and efficiently to a challenging timetable to produce something very special. Heather was a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to working with her again soon."

Heather is a joy to work with. We worked together on the Loneliness Lab playbook, and I have no doubt this is the first of many collaborations. Not only does her work ooze beauty and class but the way she works is incredible. She brings ideas to life on the page and the screen and conveys complex information simply, succinctly and powerfully. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again
